In or about May 2018, while licensed to practice professional nursing in the State of Texas, the RN administered Botox to his girlfriend without a physician’s order and without having appropriate training and education. The RN’s conduct exposed his girlfriend to risk of harm from unnecessary and/or inappropriate administration of Botox.
On or about June 3, 201 8, while licensed to practice professional nursing in the State of Texas, the RN administered Botox to his ex-wife without a physician’s order and without having appropriate training and education. The RN’s conduct exposed his ex-wife to risk of harm from unnecessary and/or inappropriate administration of Botox.
In response to the incident, the RN states that in May 2018, he injected his girlfriend with Botox under the supervision of his girlfriend who had previously administered Botox to her in their residence. The RN states he injected his on June 3, 201 8. The RN states these are the only two times he has injected any person in his home with Botox. The RN understands that he cannot administer these types of injections without the proper education and certification.
However, the RN failed to hire an effective nurse attorney to help her defend her side. As a result, the Texas Board of Nursing placed her RN license in disciplinary action. It’s too bad that she failed to hire a nurse attorney for assistance, knowing that she had every reason to defend herself in the first place. Her defense would have gotten better if she actually sought legal consultation from a Texas nurse attorney as well.
