On or about June 20, 2021, while employed as an RN at a hospital in New Braunfels, Texas, RN misappropriated two blank COVID-19 vaccination cards from the facility’s COVID-19 vaccination clinic for her and her husband and falsified the vaccination cards in order to visit medically fragile family members. RN’s conduct deprived the facility of its COVID-19 vaccination cards and deceived the public regarding her vaccination status.

In response, RN states that she and her husband had declined to be vaccinated and decided to present two (2) falsified COVID-19 vaccination cards in order to visit their grandchildren.

The above actions constitute grounds for disciplinary action in accordance with Section 301.452(b)(10) Texas Occupations Code, and is a violation of 22 TEX. ADMIN. CODE §217.12(1)(A),(4),(6)(A)&(6)(G).

Unfortunately, the Texas Board of Nursing found her guilty of her deeds. Her RN license was subjected to disciplinary action. She did not hire a skilled Texas BON attorney to fully defend her case which led to this decision by the Texas Board of Nursing.
