The Texas Board of Nursing (BON) is the government agency that has jurisdiction to hear and decide administrative cases involving RN and LVN in Texas. In response to the incident, the RN states she had been on her feet for over 6 hours when she was finally able to put the patient to sleep. She also states she sat down and opened up her laptop; however, maybe mom thought that she was sleeping because her head was bent down.
