An experienced Fort Worth nurse attorney has surely helped a lot of RNs and LVNs when it comes to cases that may lead toward disciplinary action. On or about August 25, 2006, while employed as a Registered Nurse in a hospital in Fort Worth, the RN misappropriated a vial of Morphine belonging to the patients and facility thereof, or failed to take precautions to prevent such misappropriation.

Her conduct was likely to defraud the facility and patients thereof of the cost of the medications.

In response to the incident, the RN states that one morning, she discovered a vial morphine that she must have forgotten to waste in her scrub coat pocket. She put the morphine in her purse so she would not forget to take it back to the facility to waste. She states that she forgot about it and did not remember the morphine was in her possession until the Texas Department of Public Safety found it the night she was arrested for Driving Under the Influence.
